Goonhilly satellite station

Goonhilly Downs satellite station was once an important part of international communications for military and civilian purposes, and it's now a  minor tourist attraction on the Lizard in Cornwall.   I went there on a school trip in the 1960s not loang after it had been used to realy the first ever live transatlantic TV  pictures. It was also used to bring lunar landing footage to UK TV screens.
